Change | Making: The Art and Science

Censemaking Innovation is all about what it takes to create change, solve problems, and demonstrate value.

Innovation is learning applied to the creation of things we value.

This is written for practitioners and leaders working to support, create, and shape innovation in their work, communities and personal lives.

About Me and Censemaking

Innovation has been a passion of mine for most of my life. I studied behaviour change and design at school and hold credentials as a professional evaluator. This training, coupled with more than 25 years of experience as an educator, consultant, behavioural scientist, and entrepreneur, has given me much insight into what it means to make change happen by design.

For the past decade, I’ve published articles on Censemaking outlining my thoughts on innovation - change, design, psychology, systems thinking, evaluation and more. This newsletter builds on more than a decade of publishing Censemaking. It synthesizes the lessons from that site and integrates them with the latest in behavioural science, systems thinking, design, and evaluation.

It’s about making change happen by design.
